Verona Area Soccer Club When to Join

Recreational and Classic (competitive) teams are formed in May and June for the following Fall and Spring Seasons. Club soccer plays both in the Fall and the Spring.

Recreational players can sign up anytime, but the main team formation happens in May and June. In May current teams are signing up players that want to continue with the same team. In June the club fills in spaces on current teams and then starts forming new teams. We have had teams for as late as mid-August, but this leaves hardly any time for registration, practice or uniform ordering. The club tries to have all teams in place by mid-June because uniform pricing goes up around the fourth week in June.

Classic teams are formed after tryouts that take place in May and June. Please check the tryout portion of the website to learn the exact dates of tryouts. Players may be added to classic teams after tryouts only with the approval of the team coach and the Director of Coaching.
