We have several different levels of team offerings in the Verona Soccer Club. In-House is for our U7 and U8 younger players. Recreational (Rec) Level is available for U9 - U14 . Our Classic level teams are for players who are looking for a higher level of competition and want to play on a team with a licensed professional coach. Classic level teams start at U10 and go through High School. If you want to play on a classic team, you will need to try out. You do not need to try out for the U7/U8 in house teams or the U9 - U14 Rec teams.
The tryout fee is $25 per player, and registration closes June 1, 2024.

If you have any questions about what level to sign up for or about the tryout process, please contact Tara (registrar@veronasoccer.org) or our Director of Coaching, Mellanie Nai (coaching@veronasoccer.org). If you can only attend one night of tryouts, that’s okay but please let us know your situation. If you cannot attend either night of tryouts, we will work with you to find another solution.

All tryouts will be held at Premier Soccer Field - 7615 Marsh View Rd., Verona, WI.
*A rain date is scheduled and will be utilized only in the event that one of the primary dates need to be cancelled. If cancellation due to weather is needed it would be posted at the top of this page and email notification would be sent by 3 pm that day.
Notification Dates:
Offers must be accepted within 24 hours to confirm placement on a competitive team with Verona Soccer Club. After tryouts, you will be contacted no sooner than June 14, 2024 at 12:00 Noon for U11-U14/15 teams and no sooner than June 21, 2024 at 12:00 Noon for U16-U19 (HS level) teams. If you are selected for a team, you will be given registration options and you must register within 24 hours from when offer is received. You are still eligible to sign up for a rec level team if you are not selected for a classic team or if you choose not to play on a classic team.
Financial Assistance:
Part of the mission of the Verona Soccer Club is to provide financial assistance for players in need. To that end, we have scholarships available for players who can’t afford to pay some or all of the club fees and uniform costs. A link to our scholarship policies and application can be found HERE.
