VSC Next Level Campaign: Dec 2022-Aug 2024
Dear VSC Community,
Thank you for your past, present, and future involvement with the Verona Soccer Club. Our mission is to provide opportunities for youth soccer players of all ages to learn, develop, and play the game of soccer in a fun and safe environment. We focus on player and team development, along with good sportsmanship to help foster a love of soccer in our players. We hope to drive the development of more club and classic teams and host more camps and clinics.
Verona Soccer Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and receives no support from public funding sources. All costs to maintain our program, fields, uniforms, coaching resources, are all privately funded. We have always welcomed donations and sponsorships from our families and local companies to help advance the Verona Soccer Club. To see our club take a step to the next level, we are excited to launch the “VSC Next Level” campaign. These gifts from industry, private enterprise, and family donations, will fund the completion of the next two fields at Premier, necessary equipment to maintain and care for those fields, insurance, tournaments, referees, coaching, and growing the number of available scholarships. As we continue to grow to over 500+ players, we have some exciting new ways to support the club, both as an individual and as a company that you work for or have relationships with. We plan to implement our plan in two phases. Details below.

Player Scholarship Program
Did you know that the club offers financial assistance to over 12 families annually? Without this assistance, some players could not experience the love of the game and team camaraderie that is offered through the sport.

Volunteer Requirement
All classic team families will be required to commit to 2 hours of volunteer service to the club per year OR pay a $100 opt out fee. When you register online you will be asked what your preference is. If you choose to volunteer, instructions will follow from the club’s volunteer coordinator explaining the process and how to sign up to fulfill your obligation. If you choose to “opt out” a $100 charge will be added to your balance. If you plan to volunteer and then do not complete your 2 hours of service, a $100 charge will be added to your account at the end of the soccer season. If you have multiple children playing on classic teams, you will only be responsible for 2 hours or $100. It doesn’t increase if you have more than one child.
