2008 Tryout Information

See dates under Upcoming Dates on right. Please read the 2008 Tryout Information carefully. If you have any questions contact the VASC Club Administrator at admin@veronasoccer.org. Tryouts are for players who will be U11 and above only. Instructions for sending in registration form is included in the 2008 Tryout Information sheet.

High school girls wishing to play club soccer for VASC in the Fall 2008 do not need to try out. Girls should send in a registration form writiing a note at the top of the form whether they want to play on a full-sided 11v11 classic team or a small sided 7v7 rec team. Send check for $55 made out to VASC to VASC, PO Box 930141, Verona, WI 53593.
Boys teams will be formed after the Fall 2008 high school season.

2008-2009 Recreational Teams
If your son or daughter would like to play on a recreational team Fall 2008 and Spring 2009, please contact VASC Youth Director, youth@veronasoccer.org. Your child will be placed on a waiting list and new teams will be formed when enough players have signed up. Getting your child's name on the waiting list now is a good idea so he or she can be placed on a team as soon as possible. Please let others know that VASC teams for next year are formed in the spring.

VASC mission statement:

"The mission of the club is to provide an opportunity for the youth of Verona to participate in the game of soccer. The club will ensure an environment that promotes good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork skills. The club is dedicated to the development of soccer skills and fundamentals. To achieve this, the club will educate participating youth, coaches and parents in the game of soccer. The club will stress the fun of playing the game at scheduled soccer competitions and other special soccer events."
