See our newest TV stars here. Noah Pollard, Cooper Fossum, Jillian Veldey and Zoe Weisbrod all helped to film a Verona Chamber of Commerce Commercial about our great city of Verona. Their 10 seconds in the commercial took about an hour to shoot. It was fun to see how a commercial is made. Needless to say there was a lot of repitition. In this short video you can see the director (in the white shirt), the photographer (on ground behind the camera), and Karl Curtis, Executive Director of the Chamber off to the side. Curtis would deflect balls away from the camera, but the cameraman got hit in the head once anyway.

Thanks to the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce for giving us this opportunity to be in the commercial and also for its support of our 5v5 Tournament last year.

Verona Area Soccer Club Mission Statement

"The mission of the club is to provide an opportunity for the youth of Verona to participate in the game of soccer. The club will ensure an environment that promotes good sportsmanship, leadership and teamwork skills. The club is dedicated to the development of soccer skills and fundamentals. To achieve this, the club will educate participating youth, coaches and parents in the game of soccer. The club will stress the fun of playing the game at scheduled soccer competitions and other special soccer events."

June/July 2010 - Recreational teams are currently being formed for the 2010-2011 season. Recreational teams are formed by filling out a registration form and mailing it in. Classic teams are formed by tryouts which are already completed for the 2010-2011 year. For more information look under the "Join Us" drop down at the top of the page.
